  Food is decent (fried fish was good.. clam chowder is literally clams, potatos, water and milk) but the building is screaming for a deep cleaning!! The tables were sticky with buildup from being wiped down for years and the carpets were also soaked with grease and somewhat slick and sticky at the same time. Ceiling fans had 1" of dust on the edge of the blades. The outside of the building is equally as poorly looking. These are fixable issues and the restaurant could really shine with some elbow grease! Could pin it on uncaring employees and an absent owner, who knows. Hope they fix the issues.

  The platters are humongous - I ordered a large and had enough food for three people. The fried fish was very good - I had flounder and clams and tried my friend's trout and all were tasty. The fried shrimp were nothing to write home about and the fries were not very good, but the hush puppies were tasty. You definitely get your money's worth (or more) here.
